After doing a lot of research, trying to decide on the perfect telescope for my teenage son, Who has lately shown a lot of interest in astronomy ..I have found that with telescopes, the aperture size matters much more than magnification. The bigger the aperture, the better the image will be. This is a 70mm aperture (2.75 inches), which is about as small as you can get. Very typical for an "entry-level" telescope,I found this model to be perfect for my Son who is just beginning to get into this hobby if you want to get into stargazing without dropping 500 bucks or more on a bigger scope this is the model for you.My son is 5‘3“ and it’s a comfortable height for him, Also, I find it to be very durable, tripod is strong and sturdy.. it was also very quick and easy to set up, we were using it five minutes, after removing it from the box .. it has a very professional look and feel to it.. Great viewing experience overall! The phone adapter fits his iPhone 11 securely and perfectlyIt’s lightweight and easy for him to bring it from indoors to outdoors regularly. It also came beautifully Boxed ,perfect for gifting. Also impressed with the quality of the storage bag it comes with..very happy with this purchase, totally worth the money! With the kids home schooling now we have had to find new ways to constantly keep them entertained but also still educate them. This was precisely what we needed when he had some science lessons and the kids were very interested in space and looking at things in the distant universe. It comes with a 10mm eye piece that can go up to 40x magnification. Additionally it comes with a 25mm eye piece that can go up to 16x magnification. Assembly was easy and I didn't have to have any tools. Everything very simply screws together including the tripod which is very sturdy and easily adjustable for the angles that we need. It is height adjustable from 24 inches to 50 inches so the kids different sizes and even my own can be accommodated. It also came with a phone mount that my cell hooked right up to and we could take pictures of the things we found. When not in use it includes a nice carrying bag that the telescope and attachments all fold up nicely back into.Buena experienciaThis telescope is a high quality telescope. It's easy to assemble and is a great beginners telescope. It's portable, has its own case and doesn't take up much room. It has a clear lens for easy identification of stars and planets. My sixteen year old is learning about astrology and our solar system and this has helped him in his studies tremendously. He's learned so many different stars and planets with this. It zooms in and adjusts to fit the person whose using it's sight and vision. Great value.Ok I know it said beginners but I’m 65. And this has been great to watch the stars at night. Construction is very well done and solid. Easy to put tripod together and to align with your phone was a great idea. Dark nights and so many stars. Easy to take with us camping. Great quality for the price. I’m very pleased with my purchase as are my grandkids when they visit.* A good telescope for beginners to start getting your internal explorer out and start looking in the sky.* Setup is simple takes just 2-3 mins.* First time it took me 6-7 mins to set up focus and angle but after that, it is just about changing the lens to get a better view.* Comes with 2 magnification lens. Place them as per need.* Comes with castor wheel which keeps the tripod more stable while adjusting the telescope angle and moving that around.* Also comes with a phone stand and Bluetooth control remote to click pictures with phone.* You also get a carry bag with this so it is easy to carry with you on mountain vacations.I've wanted one since a child and every clear sky night since my purchase my cousin wife as well as my neighbors and children really enjoy looking through the telescope at night ,it makes you feel as if you are on the moon, a few nights back we actually seen Saturn and the rings even tho it was fairly small it was a clear image and something we will remember for a life time,, make me want to purchase a even stronger one,, the cellphone attachment piece would be my only complaint I can ever get it to line up on lense correctly however that could be a user (myself) error not manufacturing, thank youDon't expect advanced features like looking for particular stars etc. This is basic telescope and good enough for beginners to enjoy the planets (clarity not good, yet to explore the lens position)If the box has not thrown away I would have return it. But don’t waste your money, there’s better telescope out there.Got this for my grandson to see if I could spark an interest in the solar system. It worked!!Very easy to assemble, however, it isn't very sturdy. For the price is a good beginner telescopegreat productFor the price this kit is fantastic, for kids or adults.
