My kids and I love this telescope ?.It arrived quickly, it was easy to assemble (the instructions were surprisingly clear), and it is incredibly sturdy for it's price point. The included tripod is very stable and very easy to ajust. It also came with a great carrying case to keep everything safe and organized. So far, we used it for bird watching and to spot boats out on the water. Looking forward to using it to observe the night sky, so far the light pollution in a big city like NYC really makes it difficult. If you are looking for a beginner's telescope for kids or adults, this in my humble opinion is a pretty good one to start with.Simple beginner's telescope, nothing fancy. Had four people already try it and we get nothing. Will keep going around neighborhood before trying to return. It is very easy to assemble. Took me like 5 minutes and perfect size for my bedroom. After a few adjustment I can see the stars clearly. It is also easy to carry around. Brought it to the mountain last time and it fits perfectly in the bag that it came with. A must have if you like to observe the stars and moon. Quality is great and not heavy at all.I purchased for my kids originally but it’s interesting to use it even for an adults. Well packaged and secured box.Very easy to assemble, adjustable tripod. I like the possibility to put a phone, make it easy sometimes to my younger kid to look. Different lenses and beautiful caring case included. It’s a great beginning telescope. We will be looking not just the sky, but at the neighborhood wildlife as well. Love itI am Unable to use it for what I bought it for is to see near and far object with my Beloved ' But couldn't see any Object near or far so very dissatisfy with Item , Hope it can be Resolve Soon .This is a nice beginner telescope. The last one I had was so lightweight that the slightest breeze would tip it over. It had to be weighed down in the center of the tripod. This one is a bit heavier and doesn't have the same issue. It has a nice case and the telescope, itself, works well. I found it to be user friendly. Since I'm still a novice, that was important. I expect to get a lot of use out of it, and if anything changes, I'll update this review. As of now, I would recommend it.Overall this telescope is great for any age if you are a beginner at stargazing or if you are just wanting something to do light observing with. It's definitely not professional grade - it's somewhat hard to keep well balanced because it's light and not heavy enough to be naturally stable. This is especially hard to do if you attach a phone to it, which is supposed to be one of the features. You CAN mount the phone and take pics on it of what you see. But they aren't great photos...really no better than without involving the telescope at all.Optics are ok - you can definitely see things like the moon or objects in the distance. But for more in depth observation, you probably want something with sharper optics than this offers. It does come with some additional tools/lenses which helps with detail, but not enough where there's THAT much of a difference. The instructions are not great - they are a bit hard to follow...which made assembly a bit more complicated than it probably needed to be.Overall this is not a BAD telescope - for a beginner or budding hobbyist, it's perfectly fine. Kids will definitely enjoy it. But for adults and more serious hobbyists, this is probably not the telescope for you.
